AUSTIN, Texas, April 06, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Whole Foods Market, Inc. (NASDAQ:WFM) today announced it will issue financial results for the Company’s second fiscal quarter ending April 10, 2016, after the market closes on Wednesday, May 4, 2016. Following the release via the wire services, the Company will host a conference call with financial analysts and investors from 4:00 - 4:45 p.m. (CT).

I'm scheduled to work the counter but have already told my TL that I'm sitting in on the call because I'm concerned about the future of the company. She didn't say anything, so I'm doing it.

Weirdness is right. Look at the trend people. Mass layoffs, reorganizations that don't address the roots of the problems, inconsistencies among the regional operations, gung-ho pie-in-the-sky plans that are later reversed or scaled back or tossed out entirely. Now, so I hear, my old store is scrambling, desperate to get someone who is proactive, can solve the problems and understands the crazy infrastructure the way I did. But no one does. I ain't bragging...it's just a fact. I was that person. As Joni Mitchell said: "You don't know what you got till it's gone!"
