Do you know if they are planning to lay off tellers in California?

Lot's of branch employees will be cut, including Tellers (until there are none) and then Assistant Managers will be cut approximately 25% of the population by year end and then likely the remaining population will be layed off after this.

Do your math, it's 8000 in retail/consumer. California is about 15% of the total headcount. So, 8000/0.15 is about 1200 folks in cali. tellers are about 50% of total number of employees in consumer. so, 600 tellers in Cali will be axed. Just an estimate though.
