FT to PT Ratio?

Is it true that the new goal is 70% Part Time and 30% Full Time? It it's true, that is crazy. Back in my day it was 98% Full Time and turnover was still an issue.

70 PT / 30 FT is the ratio for the 365 store concept I believe.

Store leadership tells us lowly TLs when we are looking to hire folks that it's 70/30 FT/PT, not the way the OP posted above.

The ratio has been this way for a few years now in both regions I've worked in. It's all about not paying insurance benefits anymore.

@HbjJ5LR, I had heard that training each new hire is $1K. So if they do a no-show on the first day, WFM is out that money, and I've seen it so often!
