Seems to be not as easy as some thought. Folks applying for FT, getting skipped over for the cheap noobie and being offered PT ( with the hopes that you don't take it ). Has anyone here been re-hired or know someone who has? I'd like to be proven wrong.

reapplied after 6 months and the STL told me they were not given the "go ahead" to rehire people that took severance. Seems on paper sure they are ok to apply but are in other words banned from actually getting rehired as of yet in our region
Company is mismanaged, its clear. Im still FT and im just go after every hour i can earn, get every benefit i can. I would of been happy to get severance but it was not to be... By now i've made a lot more by just working through than severance would of been anyways. At my store there are several Rehired TM's who were laid off. I don't get why they would come back... Some where there making 15+/hr with benefits, and come back to 11/hr, no benefits. Not the same at all.
Laid off in september. Best thing that ever happened to me. They PAID me to leave a sh--ty situation, why in the hell would I return?
I was laid off last Oct and would never ever consider reapplying at that fake koolaid pushing hellhole. Life is much better outside the sick cult. I'm enjoying a new job with better pay and considerate bosses, not fakers who constantly tell me I'm awesome & high 5 me. Management is in a trance like stupor. All creeps.
I know a couple laid-off tms that have been rehired, though I'm not sure of their benefits or pt vs ft status.
Whole Foods is still paying me to work my job, complete with benefits. Times are tough but going down in flames is not quite what I see.
No, it's delusional to believe this collection of dimwitted execs, regional grand emporers and their ex-girlfriends can actually compete against highly aggressive retail professionals in any way, shape or form. Stick a fork in it...it's done.

My first question, Why would you ever decide to reapply? The entire company is going down in flames. My second question, why are you surprised? The company is a FAILURE. Feel very fortunate you were paid to leave, and go find another job at anywhere else but whole foods.
