Just short of 20 years and got let go. Sucks!! Luckily home and cars are paid for and all college tuition for daughter is done. Getting out of tech and banking and looking for something more stable. Nothing high paying but great retirement benefits.

To the person who work in Simi Valley CA but have no idea where it really is, there was a WARN report but you must have the correct link, find the most recent bank of America report at the bottom of the page

This is correct. No such thing as advance notice by looking at WARN. You find out then state does. The effective date is when severance starts or you go home. Most of the time they send you packing and pay you the 60 days.
The WARN notices are not posted in advance for everyone to see. They are posted after employees are notified of their 60 days. Some employes work until the official las day on the WARN, others are laid off immediately but are paid the 60 days before severance kicks in. It depends on the dept. etc. The report from
4/25 coincides with the 4/20 layoffs in Simi. There was a small layoff in GT&O in CA on 6/22, but no one I knew personally.

You must be blind or just plain stupid. WARN posted notice 4/25/16, effective 6/19/16. Check California WARN that is where Simi is, just in case you don't know where Simi is. One notice for 40 and one for 50. Dumb***

Job security ? Lol cause you were chosen for a project, and you believe the lie about 5 yrs. They told us 10 yrs on our project, 6 months later most were let go. You seem to be very gullible
20 top UWs in Chandler redeployed to AML dept for a government initiative that will be in demand for the next 5 years at least. Very glad to have job security again. Mod UW is a sinking ship. Good luck to all who didn't get chosen for this amazing opportunity.
What happened to the WARN which showed 90 ppl in Simi Valley CA? several waiting to be let go and nothing, what a disappointment now we get to wonder when is the next time, what a nightmare and NO I'm not leaving without my severance I've given too many years of my life.
