Bank of America showers local nonprofits with education grants

Charles Bowman, North Carolina and Charlotte President of BofA, said the grants will hopefully spark workforce development on all levels. "Our mission is all about making financial lives better for people,"

No doubt.

The Republicans talk about "trickle down" economics by saying that giving to the rich will "trickle down" to everyone else. In this case, the Democrats are doing "trickle down" incompetence where everyone learns to be incompetent from the President, to Clinton, all the way down to the bank. This is evident by the topic of this conversation - everyone learns to be incopetent by practicing Political Correctness which engenders the feeling of moral superiority. What a sham!

Whichever dork made the comments about the "charity donation" being beneficial, please explain how it is beneficial? Since the company is trying to grow by cutting down on employees, ie "making it more efficient", what is the benefit of charity? Is it some kind of penitence for knowingly doing rotten things to the very people that have been loyal to the company?

The biggest tax write offs ever started when Bush was in office and employee write off has been around for at least 90 yrs, you benefit also with your charity donation. All this is nothing to do with Obama you idiot

Yep, employees are also a "tax write-off" with the only difference being that employees actually "produce" something for the company to "make money". Incompetence is everywhere these days - from Obama to Clinton, all the way down to the bank!

The extra money saved by firing employees can now be used to give away and of course for bonuses for senior management. It's good to be the king.
