If a branch is expected to close in 2weeks and the assosicates where told they would be placed within 30 miles ,wouldn't you think you would have heard something by now about placement? Is this normal? Or do they wait until the last week and let you know if you will be placed or if they will let you go. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

@IQ5sZCV-1bhx is absolutely correct. BAC doesn't care about you or anyone else for that matter. They have no intention of being courteous to you especially if it means it would be inconvenient for them.
Why do you even think the bank care about giving you advance notice, how many times do they tap some one on the shoulder to say " ...this is your last day leave everything we'll mail them to you..." the employees are not special no matter how many yrs and how hard you work.
