Arrogance, greed, selfishness, narcissism, corruption, corporate cronyism, delusions of grandeur, stupidity: just a few of the Core Values of Whole Foods Market, as evidenced by the behavior of the highest levels of WFM "leadership". I think that anyone who still works for Whole Foods Market who does not share such Core Values should get "inspired" to find a better company to work for.......the sooner the better!

And while it really should go without saying, to answer the original poster's query, yes, it is absolutely irresponsible to be "celebrating and blowing cash"! But what do you expect from a company with the above mentioned Core Values?

yeah inspire was just everyone getting drunk every night and sitting in a auditorium watching rob and the rest of wfm leadership jostle mackey's balls, and then we got to watch mackey enjoy the smell of his own farts on stage for like 20 minutes.

Let's all get together and pretend that we're soooo inspired we could just sh-t.

I remember the last "Inspire" gathering. The entire thing is a colossal non-sequitur because it's based on the lame idea that the root cause of the massive problems we're having is that we're just not inspired enough by the fake culture we're being served. It does nothing to address the REAL problems. Instead, it's a ridiculous waste of time and money in which we gather to celebrate the very idiots who are causing the downfall of the business. This garbage comes straight out of Mackey's playbook: For years, his stock answer to the crappy leadership and lousy decision-making and its effect on morale has always been that it's caused by people not really understanding our culture. GOOD GRIEF. It's a picture of a giant turd with eyeballs admiring itself in the mirror.

Omar is an arrogant a--! Union is what we need! He's a snot that walks in the store sneering at us workers like we are trash. "Inspire" my a-- this is part and parcel as to why WF is going to FAIL the good old boys make me want to give them the two finger salute and walk the hell out! I so can't wait to see them get there just desserts their day is coming!

He must be planning a coronation titled "The Coronation of King Omar" of Senegal aka RP South Region- accountability does not exist in his part of the world and he is happy to run that titanic 6 feet under faster than any other region. Tell him to use video conference - it's cheap if not free!
