In a statement Whole Foods Market said: “We have identified Mum’s chicken salad products have been contaminated with a small amount of undercooked chicken. A 'SMALL AMOUNT' OF BACTERIA IS ALL IT TAKES. THAT'S LIKE SAYING 'WE JUST PUT A TINY BIT OF POISON IN YOUR FOOD'.
“We apologise for any inconvenience.” INCONVENIENCE? IS THAT WHAT DEADLY FOOD POISONING IS BEING CALLED NOW?
Customers who have purchased the product should not eat it and are advised to return it to store for a full refund. THAT IS, AS SOON AS THEY GET OUT OF THE HOSPITAL!
Advice to consumers : If you have bought the above product, do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store where it was bought from for a full refund. AT THIS POINT, PERHAPS GOOD ADVICE WOULD BE TO NOT EAT ANYTHING MADE BY WHOLE FOODS MARKET---WHY TAKE CHANCES?
