Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

How do you make an announcement that your combining teams and then follow it up with zero info?! Completely half assed and unprofessional.

well why you are waiting to get that bonus, I am busy telling every other employee what is going on not to mention the customers as well. I take great pleasure in spreading the truth instead of the lies WF spreads. To non-believers your like cattle for slaughter to those crappy sandwhiches they make in prep. Hi Ho Hi Ho its off to tell the truth I go!!!

"Completely half-assed and unprofessional"----that's how they do it at Whole Foods Market! It explains a lot too.

Some regions are acting now...ahead of schedule. New stores are already combined as they open across the board. Most regions will experience the change through attrition. North Atlantic is on a mission to do it first and fast. I think SoPac is also on it's own schedule. SW region is safer than most for now.

Someone posted a schedule on a previous discussion bulletin. Do your research, all of us will be affected one way or another.

N. FL region. Have been told August for combined Grocery, Whole Body, and Specialty. Prep Foods absorbs Bakery. Prep Foods also takes the Beer/Wine Bar from Specialty in March. Produce stays autonomous. Meat/Seafood was already combined long ago.
