Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

How low can they go?

Comps at my store have been consistently -30 to -50%, sometimes more. What are "the numbers" like at your stores? How low can they go before something has to give?

The post at the top is just BS. Comps negative 30 to 50 sounds impossible to me. Why do all of you, or so many of you, believe everything you read here?

-1ohe that is great news! There are a shrinking number of profitable stores. Our store used to be double digit comping for years, and TJs and a publix seemed to change that. Now when we're less than a -5% comp it's considered by leadership to be good news.

Something is giving. You just don't see it right in front of you yet. It's called LIQUIDATION, and it's underway right now.

Last year we were at -17% the whole year due to some construction issues around store and a mega wholefoods opening about 4 miles away.this year we have been either -1% to 1% comp...pretty bad considering the price hikes
