What would you do if you were asked to train your replacement in (or from) India?

If obtaining my severance were contingent upon training my replacement and I either did not already have a new job lined up or really wanted the severance, I would provide the training although I would likely not feel like doing a good job at it since bare minimum seems to be acceptable these days.
Much QA is now done in Mexico - go NAFTA!
Some training starts in September, ppl traveling to India.
I personally know for a fact that QA associates in JAX that were given 60-day notices almost 2-mos ago, have been training offshore to be their replacements since notice was given. These are my friends. This is fact.
This guy just throwed a stone in the water...not a true BOAen no one is training anyone here...period.
It's do or die! Update the resume and make plans - it's only downhill from there!
Is getting your severance conditional on training? How many years do you have in?
Some folks at Disney went to the press, and people paid attention, and Disney caved under public pressure.. but the public doesn't feel the same way about bofa as they do about Disney, so noone may notice, noone may care. There was a story in CLT observer and NYTimes about people training replacements... Nothing happened. I haven't seen any action by congress or the courts. I'm sure bofa finds a way to make it look legal.
So, if my severance depends on it, if I've put in quite a few years, maybe I train them... but maybe training isn't one of my skill sets, maybe I'm not that good at it, actually, maybe I s--- at training people.
So sad.
I'm outta there- period.
