Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

Wal-Mart offers e-shopping.

Today I found out that two WalMart locations in my city will be offering e-shopping. They're hiring two people in each store to shop for the customers to keep up with demand.

Kinda too bad WFM is missing out on yet another revenue source. It's only a matter of time before the ship sinks entirely, because it's tilted and the front is fully immersed.

MA region here. This summer a new Costco opened plus this online thing with our WalMarts was also announced. I was off but went shopping at wfm the day the costco opened, and it was a saturday and the parking lot was EMPTY. I have an interview at costco this week! I know what's going to happen if I stay at wfm, so I need to get out asap.

Instacart is doomed to fail - that's structure is unsustainable as a stand alone in this environment. Walmart means business and if not careful, they can even take your pig bank quarters.

WFM uses Instacart, which is smarter than them trying to build something internally.
