Yesterday I caught wind of an email sent out to all TL's and above, in the SW region, regarding the restructuring of the combination teams. I heard that the "Market Team ", i.e. Grocery/Whole Body/Specialty will only have a TL, two ATL's no more supervisory roles and four specialists. Does anyone know if this is in fact true or have heard anything similar?

So when is the co-CEO positions going to be combined to one CEO? How is it that one CEO works for a dollar and the other hasn't quite reached that level of clarity yet? Kinda makes you wonder about their decision making process.
Vineyard already pushed out the Grocery TL and the process is in place.
And it's amazing to see the idiots who were fired like dogs go back to work for this company. It's like eating your own vomits- people there are so many opportunities out there, just look and you will see them. This company is gone gone gone for good.
It's all about subtraction and attrition! Don't want no mo negative press bout no layoffs anymo...
You will be pulled in the office and asked where you see yourself in your current job. Just say you love it even if it's a lie. Otherwise, you will be put in a situation where you are calling other stores searching for a home team.
So what will happen to those of us who are supervisors?
Supervisors are being replaced by experts.
Super = higher wage and Expert = lower wage
Everything is about part time now. Conscious Capitalism in high gear!
Hopefully those team leaders are being compensated for taking all of it on. The way this confused company works lately I am sure that they won't. It is one bad decision after another until all the talent goes where it is appreciated and Whole Foods becomes a has been in the grocery game. Who is in charge of these decisions? It is starting to feel like wal mart and soon that is the only talent level that will remain through this treatment.
What are the four specialties?
I believe this is in place at my SW region store already. Spec/grocery/whole body has 1 tl and 2 atls, not sure about # of specialists or supervisors. As far as I know the specialists and supervisors are still in place from their respective teams before they merged.
We have 3 TLs, but I don't know if we have any specialists.
