so I am line last night and the girl in front of me was checking out....the person checking her out finalized the sale and then I heard her say...oh, did you remember that? The checkout person looked back, picked up a $12 piece of cheese (it was a round from a local farm in chester springs, that's how I know the price, it's expensive...started to ring it up...looked around (duh, camera right above all registers) and then just threw it in her bag..she smiled and said thanks and walked away. Are they allowed to do that? No wonder this company is going down the tubes...really...she wasn't protesting and it would have taken 30 additional seconds to ring her up..the had maybe 12-15 things, so it's not like it was a $400 grocery bill that would be absorbed by the $12 hit. Also in this store, I saw some ground chicken breast pre-packaged by Nature's Ranch expired 10.25.16...anyone one with two eyes could see it was "off color". I counted out of date. I went and told someone in meat....15 minutes later I went back and it was still out there. Lastly, saw ricotta packed out in the store from Brooklyn, my favorite. The 1st four containers in front expired 11/10, the 2 behind those, 11/02 and the 1 behind that one 10/31. The beautiful thing about whole foods is they never rotate, so you don't have to dig back for better dates...almost every store I go into and in almost every department, there is some product with a longer date in front of a shorter date product. You might say it's basic retail 101, but it's either pure laziness on the part of the team members or they short cut because they are overworked....not sure. Don't get me wrong, I find out of date product everywhere, but it's much more prevalent at natural foods stores because they don't add netmyacin to everything to extend the shelf life....but Jesus, it is always horrible at whole foods.

Dude ... your STL is going to use this to fire you. Stop taking pizza and not paying for it. You can't find anywhere in the GIG or on the team member network that says that we get free pizza.

Hey @K4neSD8-rra,

You are getting seriously ripped off then -- Pizza is FREE to TMs. Just get it boxed up and take it to the table and eat it, or if you are buying something like a drink, tell the TM at the register you are a TM and to not be charged for the pizza but charged for everything else.

Because everyone gets charged for pizza ... what store are you in where team members were getting free pizza? We don't even get free coffee anymore in the south.
