2017 is going to be the big turnaround for WFM! Mackey is back leading the way and Global Leadership is a grocery powerhouse of retail excellence! Trim the fat and lean the machine...to infinity and beyond! Loving the new Whole Foods already...c'mon Mackey lead us to the land of no excuses and race us to the top!
well 2017 sure is not going to be two thousand 11. i feel like 11 yrs juST disappeared just Like that. i wonder waT year is next to diappear in this coMing yearS. so pray to santa u on the good boys/girls list. if not, get on the UNION train to secure your ticket to hell.
No one owes wfm an ounce of loyalty. Get out if you can, don't look back, and don't feel bad about it. In the end, profits for stockholders comes before the core values we used to tout so proudly.
I agree here. Stay informed here but do your research. Start w the WF quarterly earnings. The one good thing about being public is financial performance is (sort of) public. WF is doing terrible compared to the grocery segment. Like the other poster said it's our same store sales. They are declining no matter how you swing it. Which means no as many people shop here or shop less. This sight offers some good eye rolls, a place to vent and maybe some useful info. But I bet Robb's exit was no accident and I bet he didn't even see it coming. Stay agile and update the resume because 2017 will be a bumpy ride. Bottom line is WFM the way most of us know it is dead. Expect leaner teams, less opportunity and less benefits. That's a guarantee. It's called squeezing blood from a turnip. WFM is not your kin and don't be foolish and hang on like they are
You've come to the wrong place if you need serious people. My advice is don't worry about what you cannot control. Cover your own butt. Keep looking, network, and update your resume.

The only thruth known is that we will post 1st quarter earnings reports in Feb. and if it is a decline in same stores sales, it will be the 6th. quarter in a row of decline, which will not be good for the company and employees.
