The kitchen in MA is closing. Scott has openly talked about it at MALN and regional PFDS is sourcing all their products to third parties. They haven't told team members, even as they pass up opportunities to move up elsewhere in the company in order to keep team members them at the facilities to produce holiday PFDS product. They were supposed to tell TM November 1st, but that date has come and gone. Use and abuse, typical WFM.

MDK got their severance papers today. I'm sure you'll read about it soon. I tried to tell you it was closing and you called it fake news. MA MDK last day 2/12. NA kitchen got closed up today as well - not surprising given their food safety issues.

This is not fake news. In October, after MDK lost $1.5mil over two FP and Cesia was fired, Scott announced at MALN that it would close. They haven't replaced any of the facility leadership that has left. MDK has also transitioned their products that contain meat to third party suppliers to avoid usda inspections in the kitchen. In addition to meat based products they have stopped production of hummus and have moved out their prepackaged pizza production. The cup machine and bagging machine regularly break down, and had been scheduled to be replaced - but were cancelled after Scott said MDK would closed. The fact that hey are doing all of this DURING the holidays suggests they are moving quickly. The WFM PR team regularly trolls this board, are you one of them?
