Hello....these are rumors BTW!!!

Always keep your eyes open in life but for your own good please don't succumb to your fears. Lots of time wasted wondering "what if this and what if that". Have a good holiday with the people you love and live life fully.

gotta be proactive not reactive. start getting that resume out and start setting up interview appointments... don't wait to get let go. took me over 6 months to land a good job outside grocery/retail and putting in my two weeks at wfm was one of the best feelings ever.

i took pictures of the view behind the counter on my last day so that i'd never forget the misery

I also heard that there will be a buy out soon. In my region employees still getting canned specially at the regional level. At this point your TL n Stl are on the same boats as you. Start applying for jobs now. Don't wait. There will be no severance this time around.

Well look at the comps, If sales don't pick up after the holidays, unfortunately a good amount of people will be laid off. No one is safe, even Stl and Astl are in danger of losing their jobs. Full timers and high paid team members are targets. There will be no severance this time around.

How many buyers are we looking at per store? I think a new store in the South region has 2.

Just get out. Go to a quality market-leading financially successful retailer if you want to stay in retail. Best time to walk out is a week before Thanksgiving. Take the holiday off then go to work. Say it's for personal reasons and wish everyone well.

Nada es con garantia mi hermano. Tal vez te den tu paquete o tal vez no. El echo que haigas trabajado 15 años no significa ni pedo. Mas bien ponte buzo y applica para wegmans o costco una vez que te despidan

SoPac isn't finished combining teams, either... please do not speak as if you know what you are talking about, if you don't.

You are causing needless anxiety for people, and after yesterday/last night, I think everyone has had enough anxiety to last for a quite a while. Thank you

This isn't news. We have known this for months. Post something worthwhile or don't post at all.

Like another poster said, get your resume ready.

In the meantime, if you have to be at WF working, until you find something better, do your best to have fun. Be nice to your fellow TMs... You may need their help someday, or vice versa.

At the end of the day, remember..... It is JUST A JOB!

TL s that did not get spot will not be given a change to apply for atl spots.... the process is over already... all teams should be combined by now, at least in my region. TL s were told to try to apply for other positions, they did that so no severance is given. In Cali the employer has to give you a few months notice or severance.

Does this apply to produce or just prep foods/bakery?

as far as I know, TLs that don't make the cut for TL will have to apply for the atl position - it won't just be given to them.

of course they're happening after the holidays after they work the crap out of them - this holiday season is going to be so bad for those that are still there... my old TL (i was her ATL before I quit and finally got out of retail last year) is just her and 4 part timers right now - i feel bad about leaving now it's going to be a disaster these next few months.

If there are 3 TLs, will 2 become ATLs? This is for a ULV store.
