No. 5 (Worst CEO's of 2015) foxbusiness.com

Let us just remind ourselves that with the end of 2016 fast approaching both JM & WR made No. 5 of the Worst CEO's list on Foxbusiness.com for 2015. Now that, WR is leaving, I wonder if WFM now makes Top 3 for 2016? Any thoughts??

Ok look. The FORTUNE (not Forbes) "Best Places to Work" list is some nonsense sponsored by a PR firm called the "Best Places to Work Institute." The whole thing is a scam. It's a PR firm that companies hire...the idea that it's based on any kind of scientific survey is laughable. This was all thoroughly debunked by a real, actual journalist named Douglas McIntire and was first published on his site 24/7 Wall Street. The "Best Places to Work" consultants are experts at getting companies on the list....a paid list in which consultants from "Best Places to Work" explain to executives how to boost workers' perceptions, and companies then pay the consultants to get (and stay) on their fake-a$$ list. (BTW, in England, this list in Forbes is covered in a "Special Advertising Section" because it is not news,, it's advertising.)

Plenty of people have commented that they have "left for the competition", but no one will state who they've gone to work for specifically. What's the problem, this site's anonymous, give up the goods!

As someone who just left for competition (a very succesful move I might add), this gives me a great deal of satisfaction

And how does wfm buy a spot? I thought it was all surveys or something

Yeah I was shocked to find out that we bought ourselves a place on the list (and most of the listed companies do), and leadership was always touting the list as something so wonderful and revered. They must feel pretty stupid now, at least I never bought into the hype.

Just makes me feel embarrassed for all the folks drinking the mackey kool-aid in the past. i remember at the last "inspire" south region event people were lining up to jostle his balls. people in my store at the time were actually reading his book too.

i still can't believe wfm made it onto the forbes best places to work list at all. when i was still at wfm like 6 months ago i remember there was an email from TMS asking people for stories to submit to them so that they could have something to give to forbes... lol, i bet they just made some stuff up.
