Stocks up on acquisition rumors...AGAIN...

We all know that these rumors are coming out of Austin because they keep recycling the same ones every few months. It would be nice if the stock would recover for legitimate and completely public reasons, but I don't see that happening, at least until a lot more of us are "attritioned". If you've got stocks and want out now might be a good time. Or stick around, maybe one day the rumors will be true.

Once again, it appears that Austin is the source of the takeover rumors. It's just good old-fashioned Wall Street pump-and-dump. Get the market excited about a takeover by (fill in the blank) then dump the shares once the spike occurs.

Of course the company will be sold...in a TAKE-UNDER where the share price offered is below whatever the current price is. Please believe it...There are too many stores of every kind chasing too few dollars. BTW, Florida Trend reported in article on grocery competition in Florida that none other than KROGER is financially backing Lucky's Market (of Boulder, not California). The writing's on the wall...there is no fundamental need for THIS company to exist.

nah i think this is a terrible time to sell stock, especially if you bought them over the years on the stock purchase plan. just wait, they're so low right now, they'll eventually get back up. might not get back up too high, but you can at least mitigate some of your losses by being patient.

Nah All retail stocks are surging. Thank Trump for that but when the dust settles it'll be biz as usual. WF struggles to stay competitive with organics becoming mainstream. We have now have 2 discrete biz models now WF and 365 and one CEO. A perfect scenario for a sell off and spin off. It will happen. My guess next year. The market wants this, consumers want this and our stakeholders want this. Stay vigilant.
