Anyone know what's going on in the South? There was just an announcement thats says an early meeting with O on the 8th. Anyone else in the South got a meeting with Mr. Dishwasher turned President coming up all of a sudden? This is an all store meeting. I am soooooo hoping they announce that our store is closing. It has been a complete failure.

Perhaps Mr. Dishwasher should go back to washing dishes. He sure doesn't know jack about the South. But I hear his frequent flyer miles are near the top 1% of Delta customers. He needs to fly his * * right back where he came from. Dishwasher my butt. Nobody rises from dishwasher to RP
in 5 years without some kind of inside track. Maybe he's got photos of Walter Robb with a farm animal or something but the whole thing was fishy to begin with. Not surprisingly, the results have been dismal and will continue to be as long as he's in a corner office. Fire him!
I'm thinking it will be a 365 store. Trader Joe's will be opening in our city and right down the street, this European gourmet market is supposed to open up as well so it's either 365 or close. This one is unannounced unlike the Marietta store. That one has been know for a little while now. I wonder if they had a surprise meeting before that happened to them.
That would barely pay rent in many places...especially WFM locations. That's really slow....those are numbers I saw with Richardson's final days....but our rent was free for a couple of years to keep us in the already declining retail center so we made good on profit.
My guess is your location will become a 365 store and yes you will likely have to apply for the positions offered.
This could mean a total relocation - and you are likely being told with a year's notice.

have a meeting with RO on the 8th. Several people from our department are on a list. Management is in the first meeting, noticed all the full time tms are on the list. Meeting is mandatory. Could this be a store closure? A layoff?

Probably closing the store. Don't expect a severance. You'll get the same speech that the team members at south kitchen got.
