Our meeting today announced that our Augusta store is closing. Along with 7 other stores across the company. We have been offered a severance package and everything.

Prescott arizona is closing too
Last time it was 2 weeks per year worked, 12 year cap. Just wondering if they offered the same thing.
Google Whole Foods severance. Should be the same as 2015 with 60 days bridge pay (required by law since such short notice on a mass layoff).
What are they offering for the severance package?
This store was 200k and under. They said that the South is on a hiring freeze to be able to take as many tm's as possible and relocation package as well. If you have to step down as a team member, they will continue to pay you your current wage for 6 months. We are all getting paid for 60 days starting from today regardless the store officially closing on the 22nd. The other stores they mentiined were closing were not from the South region, but 2 in California, 2 in SO Pac and I don't remember what else.
What were this stores weekly sales like?
They're not going to learn anything from the problems this store had though. They're not going to learn from their mistakes because they haven't thus far. They're going to let some sh--ty team members, team leaders, etc. transfer to other stores--team members that should've been fired a long time ago. And regional and all the higher ups are never going to learn not open stores in places where there is not really the clientele for it. They're never going to stop auto-shipping crap that's not going to sell. I could go on and on.
