this last gainsharing everybody in my store got more than the regional boys want...they made every dept haphazardly hire way way too many people.granted some depts. were short staffed for months but this hack method to cut into our labor surplus.the stockholders with their financier money love when they can cash out on high margins but the lil guys actually doing the work aren't allowed such growth of money..not conscious capitalism but robber capitalism

Before one store labor, we would receive about 200-300 every year with savings pool payout. Now, I received a whopping 44 dollars.

Thanks . My leadership could care less about about the workers. All they do is give us the runaround.

It was in a lot of different emails from central, regional and stls. During transition to 1store and new system it is pooling from period 5,6,7 and paying them out combined at end of the quarter (period 7). So end of April you'll get a 3x payout from previous 3 periods

Save outrage for real things. Or ask like 1 person at your store. Geez

Yep. It used to be as routine as checking your tax refunds. I still remember looking it up even if I haven't worked there since mid 2014. The payout was lower after they bought Wild Oats.

Yep, there is a deadline you have to be employed through to be eligible for the payout, if people were kind enough to give notice before walking out, I always told them about the deadline in case they wanted to stay through it,

Regardless of the recent changes, we've always forfeited the annual payout for those that no longer work there and it gets distributed to the other team members. Always been that way.

i'm wondering the same, as i left the company a few months back, but still worked a bunch of months last year and we all deserve our share of the annual labor surplus
