Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

Quit this past weekend

Going to start my own pet sitting business. tired of the BS. I wish the company well, but you are all being played. i actually asked for 1 million severance and they laughed. They paid ex C0-CEO Robb over $10,000,000 for leaving. That cost shareholders .03 per share or around $1.00 in price per share at typical P/E ratios. That is just wrong. This bozo also gets his health insurance paid for until he is 65. That is astonishing considering the stock has gone from $65.00 to the current price of $29 or less. They also paid his moving expenses to relocate back to California. I feel violated by these perks that Executives continue to give themselves. The hand picked boards should be ashamed of themselves for letting these employment agreements be put in place. I guess they do not want to rock the boat and thus their gravy train would come to an end. I sure hope the next CEO they appoint gets a less lucrative package for being mediocre and hammering out 1.7% profit margins and dropping the stock price by 50%. goodbye all.

You haven't gotten rid of Walter Robber until you have also cleared out his executive angels.

Robb was the original dissenter who created a chasm right down the middle of this company all the while celebrating it. This learned behavior is still working its counter measures in high position. They trying to steer everything back to the glory gravy train days when they used to wallow in it when they rained on themselves.

What about all that PTO time that the execs never use when they take time off...just how many years of PTO did Robb have when he was booted?

Why bash peoples dreams and hopes to improve thier lifes? Wonder what kind of world we would live in uf George Washington did follow his dreams? Certainly not one that lets someone bash someone else on a social media site!

Just quit a guaranteed paycheque?

You'll deeply regret that very soon, when you discover the true state of the economy, and what happens in 2017.

It's going to keep happening. Either work with other retail workers to create unions that actually work for the people and get your butt out and vote or get used to this treatment.

It wouldn't hurt you to boycott establishments that treat workers poorly either.
