I was laid off on 3/14, a little under a week ago. Had been with the bank for 10 years. It feels like a punch in the gut. I had a feeling it would happen eventually. I've seen people laid off for years now. I was the last one standing from my original team. It was still a shock though! Gives me a bad taste in my mouth about reapplying there or working for any major corporation, especially banking!

Yup - a friend ( among the very last of the 'good guys') got cut yesterday.... he had been there more than 23 yrs.
Agoura got hit hard. Mortgage tech. Even people have been around for more than 10yrs.
This is a sad site for those that have been laid-off and those that are going to be laid-off. Air your grievances so that others can learn and move on. There seems to be a common theme here where any kind of fairness has been thrown out of the window - a savage kind of environment at this place.
