You may have noticed that since Trump has been around the layoffs have slowed down tremendously. Just thank Obama and the Democrats for the last few years of layoffs, bank regulations, and low productivity and low profits all round!
1jdi - you are a dope and likely the first to go.
There will be many more layoffs in the future as Trump deregulates the banking industry and turns the economy and the steering wheel back over to Wall Street.
Development managers in global compliance? Didn't hear about any of them getting axed today.
Most of the development managers in global compliance shared services were laid off today in a "restructuring". Not in any one site...all over the country.
Entire Pittsburgh site laid off.
Several in Simi Valley CA.
13 in Chandler Document Execution. 1 manager, 12 employees.
GT&O Data quality, still going but at least 10 so far from various locations.
GTO in Delaware....never ending cycle. More to come....
Just got laid off in the Jacksonville site, feels good. I don't know how many people got let go today but its best to stop worrying about whether or not you'll be laid off , if you think you will be then make a plan and go about your business. Office jobs are liquid as hell and if you expect to retire there these days, you are pretty disadvantaged in your chances. Plus, worrying about getting let go isn't a good idea as you are just putting extra stress on yourself for something you have no control over and who wants that? Either start looking for new work now or just hope you aren't selected. Either way, I am not worried and i'm glad they finally let me go. it's not the end of the world and i'm excited to see where life will lead me to next. Til then, ill be on my paid vacation severance pitying people who are stuck in traffic and get to work worrying if its their last day while I sleep and relax for a few months before I start my new job. hakuna matata lol
