I worked at BofA for 19 years after getting the boot. Was a Systems guy who watched Sr. Management screw up constantly with Cathy Bessant leading the mess. She's a complete idiot when it comes to making direction decisions. She's sold off the IT systems to a sea of vendors who have no idea on customer care. That being BofA as the customer. Band 5-2 managers all only care about the bonus... They are stoic, refuse to make decisions when asked to make one, just so they can't be on the hook... Just for the bonuses. It won't be long before the entire place folds, and it will. So glad I'm out if there, the grass is so much greener and it actually grows now.

Oracle cloud is non existant and is larely theorethical - they sold it to her like true champs - she bought into an idea, unproven, risky and above all EXPENSIVE (kind of Oracle class expensive)...

Read a few posts on Oracle's board and you will realize how collosal this mistake was... 1000s of posts there, people are unhappy there.

Go to Amazon, Google, Microsoft, all have strong cloud solutions and yet there are no messages on their boards, people are happy there and working on projects. Look up IBM or Oracle, 1000s of messages about their respective slow motion implosions...

Oracle is almost 100% Indian - there is a DOL case pending where the gov is going after them for discriminating against Whites - that's a new one for me, but 100% true - see DOL.gov PR release

That's basically outsourcing 80% of IT to Oracle via the Cloud. Oracle's Indians can then get to it to make it work! Or, at least try ... And then obviously adopt the next technology hype that will come around and drown out any failures that happened this time round, once again ...

Kathy keeps on dreaming while the actual workers get booted out of the company...."We anticipate 80 percent of our technology workloads will be delivered on the cloud within the next few years"...Seriously?

The nightmare continues at BofA....clueless management at the top!
