will the sale or merger of wholefoods be a good for its team members?

I always see more TMs on the floor at Walmart. Walmart has grass fed milk , yogurt etc.
Ditto on labor targets being worse outside wfm. I just interviewed someone trying to come over from a competitor and as a full timer they've seen their hours slashed to sometimes 12 hours a week due to labor. Things are so much worse at other grocers and most of you don't even realize it.
I left WF and work with multiple conventional grocery stores. Here's the bottom line, it's actually worse out there for labor $. The difference I see is that the attitude in the departments lack the knowledge, enthusiasm or customer engagement like the team members at WF. It's all about cutting for profits and labor is a biggie. So there's your future. Grocery Zombies. Next.
Btw, I still miss all the TMs I connected with and the good side of the company. I don't miss the unreasonable expectations for lack of support.
The company trainings will absolutely give you skills to get a better job. Just do it. I have a job that pays about the same but the stress is almost zero. Plus weekends off!
Your question presumes that will be a merger or acquisition. Think about it: If that didn't happen when the company was selling for $27 a share, what makes you think it will happen at $36 a share when the competitive environment is even tougher? The reason that a deal hasn't been done is because of the implacable freakin' EGO of the founder, the board members, the former co-CEO (Walter "Highway" Robb-ery) and regional chieftains. They're like the homeowner who thinks his house is worth double what every other house on the street sells for. This thing is a hot mess. Who wants to deal with it and take on THEIR (the current owners') losses?
OMG What a bunch of children, besides my mom's tits are bigger then your's, so there!!
YO u first response! if you so smart maybe you should run for president ! please respond u azz hole
You're not that bright are you? You should realize now that TMs are the last thing WFM is worrying about....wait for your severance
Not if Wal Mart is the buyer!
Names not allowed here, bro. Check the site rules.
mergers generally lead to a loss of jobs and a restructuring of the company operations.
Severance check please! That's good!
