My last job dialogue was Nov. 17th, 2019. My prior job dialogue was Oct 25th 2018. My PBS assistant told me Global had changed it ( my anniversary) to my date of hire (Dec.24th 2007). Is it true that Global has changed everyone's anniversary to their date of hire?

All raises from JDs are supposed to be dated the pay-period-beginning Monday closest to the date of your last year's JD. This IS the global policy. If you're owed retro pay, document it in an email to your TMSG. If you don't get your retro pay within the next 2 paychecks, email regional TMS.

We had a team in my old store in the PN that was ALWAYS behind on their JDs, sometimes by 6 months or more.

They try and avoid raises... our sales have been down, but our employees work really hard and do everything they can. I don’t understand, wholefoods is a billion dollar company and should reward outstanding work for basic TMs regardless of the individual stores performance.

Get a copy of your GIG book from Workday. If you are well versed in the rules, you can use them to protect yourself. In FL, they have 2 weeks from when you turn in your JD form to have your review. If it is your annual review they will consider a raise. If you are a good TM you will get a raise (even if tou dont think it is a lot) and you get retro from the start of the next pay period after you should have gotten your review (two weeks after turning it in). Yes you might need to remind them about retro, Workday isn't perfect and doesn't show that you should get retro. Someone has to put it in manually.

I personally never have received retro pay for having a JD be 2.5 months late. At 9% raise as well, that's like $300+ so I asked for retropay (as well as long overdue bonuses for referencing team members who have since been voted on) what I got in return was a retaliation write up instead and an explanation from the gig that raises aren't guaranteed from JDs. My TL even said "they had me dig for this one" before writing me up for 5 call outs in 6 months (Jan 5th to June 22nd, the first being the day I left the country and the last having been requested but scheduled regardless as my TL was opening another store and gone for 3 weeks. He said he'd "take care of it" before he left but never did). I wouldn't hold my breath for retropay tbh

That is a lie. Either you aren't well versed in the process or you are intentionally trying to mislead people on here. They do not try and not pay out to your anniversary date. However..... I would advise anyone that they should always make sure it is correct. As with any change in pay or job status no matter where you work.

There is no global policy forcing retro back to the anniversary date. Eventually through attrition and moving all payroll to regional or global it will happen. But as long as any pay entry is done in store and an stl can pressure that person doing the entry to avoid a labor miss... it will be like everything else, no consistency and a lawsuit waiting to happen

They never avoid paying retro? That's funny because on two separate occasions I've had to double check with PBS to make sure I was getting my money. They can avoid it if they want to. Always check. Besides never hurts to be better safe than sorry.

They will try to avoid paying you retro pay so make sure to talk to your PBS and TL and check your pay stubs.

Doesn't matter, you will get retro pay starting two weeks after you submitted. Even if it's months, as long as you can track when you submitted it, you will receive retro pay....
