The team that handled lawsuits were all cut a month or two...all of them....so...no one is handling those.

People just don't want Buicks. It was doomed from the start. Sounded good though, same message has floated through every enterprise IT organization over the past 30 years. Execs just pull it off the shelf and repackage it every so often because they have nothing else to offer.
The demise of Shared Services (a financial and delivery fiasco) means that GT&O must cut staff to show that abandoning this expensive venture will save money (of course, they sold Shared Services on the premise it would save money, but apparently no one can remember back that far).
