Boss did not accept LinkedIn but bosses boss did. Should I be worried?

just like the way u think about your boss, he thinks about his own boss and the third level boss too has same problem - is there some below me who can used by my boss to replace me , Yes then fire that guy so that my boss cant betray me - tomorrow u become boss u re goin think the same way - it is chain of insecurity... perpetuated .... poor culture...

Managers or bosses boss is not your friend. They will throw you under the bus in min. They will keep you as long as you are their slave. Beware!

That's the key here, the manager is not your friend. It can't be - just keep it as business. This is the only way to stay safe and avoid the pitfalls of the closet sociopaths that lurk everywhere.

Don't do it, value and keep close your privacy....managers are not your "friends", they are decision makers and have a duty to report unethical behavior on social media, if they do not they would be complicit..........keep work and personal life separate.

No. A lot of managers don't even look at their linkedin accounts. Or may accept 6 months down the road. Or dislike using social media.

Wouldn't read anything into it.
