our store has a tiny warehouse that can barely house what we need to mmake sales for the holidays..with the ots the team leaders and buyers seemed hesitant to order enough goods for holiday shoppers..bigly empty spots on shelves...holes,holes holes,,,,customers not happy and the out of stocks from regional were ridiculous..

Whole Foods is ultra shady in their policies and their practices are ancient. How do you think Amazon took over so easily? Forget the computer systems the stores are loosing money because of high incidents of inside theft and mismanagement. Say it ain't so but the numbers don't lie.

OTS is ridiculous, no other store uses a system like it. It's like trying to run a grocery store like a restaurant.

And what about the warehouses. Flash comes to the store many yrs ago and tells us SWD just upgraded the warehouse by 100,000 SQ FT. and then maybe a year or two later we move most of our ordering to UNFI!! What?!? UNFI stinks, constant out of stocks and shortages all the time that you can't get a credit on because of that stupid 5% credit off invoice. Funny how they let us do credits for 30 days and I only had 2. The day after the 30 days I had 4 shortages in one day, think they don't do it on purpose?

OTS needs more overhaul. In theory its good, but too time consuming with all the pointless case counts and inventory counts on days you dont even place an order.

Amazon really needs to do a complete overhaul of all IT systems. About half of the systems are connected, the other half are isolated outdated or inefficient programs.

I think the winner is ChefTec. Although multiple people need to use it, each store can only have one team member log in at a time. If they forget to log out, it locks everyone at the store out until they call the help desk. It's the most absurd thing I've ever seen.

The handheld DVO scanners. If you don't know the tricks to getting them back online you're SOL. They freeze, they fail, they run windows mobile.

Orchard. Just try to find what you need. Then wait for eternity for nothing to happen.

Aisle price checkers. Go offline every day.

too many to mention. Amazon, please fix, ty.

how about computer systems throughout the store that aren't integrated with one another?? the registers should trigger inventory management and replenishment in real time...and why don't they deliver inventory 7days a week to keep ots moving at full effect??
