Also, isn't it sad that there is barely a week that goes by without either news of layoffs or announcement of layoffs to come?
this means you must make more to cover your costs after layoff.

expect staff reductions quarter over quarter.......this has been the trend for many years now, some departements are less adversely impacte than others, but staff reductions are the norm.
Haven't you heard? The new tax cuts will put so much money back into the Bank (and all other corporations) that there be no more layoffs!?!?!! WE ARE SAVED!!! Thank you Washington guys you are all soooo smart!
Heard that in our department too. Budgets for 2018 are low and they are looking for layoffs. At the moment trying to work with removing open head counts. But if that doesn't cut it there will be cuts
