Overstaffed front office

overstaffed front office is a real problem. there are too many people with “trader” title do not trade, with “salesperson” title but do not sell. then you have lots of MDs who do not generate revenue but claim themselves “important” for revenue generation.

The problem will eventually take care of itself. It always does.

@1oub

You can if you have VIP on your back. Have you ever heard the word “nepotism”? Front office have too many managers pretend they are busy but in reality they just trash-talk each other whole day.

That's great. Are they hiring?

I want to be a seller that doesn't sell, a trader that doesn't trade and self proclaim myself as important for revenue generation without generating revenue.

I think I can be successful at that.

Yes. Many of GT&O and Risk teams are doing same type of work as front office yet get paid significantly less.
