Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Why is this site purging legitimate question and respons s?

I see entire threads and select questions, comments, and answers suddenly purged. None of these were libelous nor innaproriate as far as I can tell. In fact, they were helpful and in the spirit of what I thought this site was all about.

I guess I will move to reddit for my questions from now on. This site has seems to have no guts and clearly ignores free speech. A sham forum in my opinion.

Hey Layoff, when you pick and choose the content that is appropriate only to your taste, it appears as censorship and an agenda. Take the feedback or not, it is just my humble opinion.

This will be my last time on this site as it has no value when censured. I am sure this post will be purged as unflattering to the layoff. In the end, who cares- I doubt it will be around much longer.

Were they listed as leaders on company’s main page?

Every person named in that thread was either praised or a person who is in the news already and publicly promoted by the bank.

Context matters in free speech.

is personal and confidential information

That’s standard “no personally identifiable info” policy, other forums have it too. That means you cannot name a person who is not already a public figure (can name a C-suits, but not someone who is lower down a management chain, or post other info which pinpoints to one exact individual).

threatens, harasses, or bullies or encourages others to do so

That means you cannot post a personal insult.
