The internal company surveys are a joke, I dont know anyone that fills them out honestly. Actually if you trash anything they will put your department in week long "training" sessions due to the low ratings, so everyone just fills out as "great". As far as my manager though I think he's very good and tries to always be professional.

Seriously, find a better company (I found one by pure luck and accident after being laid off by them) or create a new one.

Potentially, this would be an interesting thing to do - create a new cooperative with other fellow laid off employees! I'd be thrilled to do something like that at some point.

The market and the society is changing so fast right now, you can easily right of BofA. They're losers.

Cheers!

I was laid off, I don’t have one :). And I don’t have Monday mornings either. My family told me I’m back to my old happy self again ever since I was laid off. I was congratulated lately by someone who found out I was no longer at BofA. They told me that every time they speak to someone who works there, they sounded miserable. I don’t think it’s just BofA though, this is prevalent at many other companies. Take advantage of this time and see it as an opportunity to do things you couldn’t because of work. The gift of no Monday’s at work is a luxury I have fully embraced. :)

I was ambushed at lunch time on October 13, 2015. My manager lied to me and said he wanted to meet with me to discuss future plans for some projects that were in the works. When I got to the meeting room there was an HR rep sitting at the table. I knew immediately I had been set up to be kicked out at lunch time, when there were fewer people around. Very clever. I really despised this cowardly individual for this type of treatment after years of productive service as a senior level engineer.

I don't like mine at all. It's to much favoritism and the ones causing all the issues gets praised. I always heard that if you complain on these surveys, you will be retaliated against and honest hard working people like myself need their jobs. So it's a no win situation. I guess it's just a sit there and shut up and take whatever comes your way. Morality is at a all time low.

This survey does nothing and is useless. Last year people put in the survey they wanted new opportunities to move up or move around internally; the banks response, create a learning site where you can read articles and supposedly gain new skills for a new role. Operational Excellence is going to take everyone down, that's the plan. Meola knew all of this was coming and bailed.
