It’s amazing this hippie clown didn’t kill the company when it first started. He is so out of touch with reality it’s mind blowing. The core values are a charade TM happiness give me a break the only people that need to be happy are the STL who s---ed off the regional parasites. I hope amazon tears the leadersh!t of WF to shreds.
At this point Mackey is like the drunk uncle that everyone greets but no one really pays much attention to. That recording was ‘leaked’ to start to process of his leaving the company. He agreed to stay on as the face of wfm for the transition, but that’s done in August. He’ll leave the company some where around then and this recording will be mentioned as a reason, “he didn’t get along with the new Amazon folks”. Now, let’s not feel bad for the crazy old coot, he’s the reason the company had to sell in the first place. Continually hiring unqualified people to high positions will take its toll eventually. Not only has he done a lot of that, he’s presided over a company where nepotism and favoritism are rampant. Once he leaves the rest will fall like dominos and Amazon will finally put competent people in place. Can’t happen soon enough.
That was intentionally leaked so customers and employees would think the place has integrity (something that got left behind a LONG time ago.)
