That's the way it's done here

The manager has his team do the work but only he gets any credit. His manager then gets credit as well and so on. The team can always be replaced easily and so it could have been done by anyone anyway so why make a big deal about workers? It's the managers super organizing and coordinating abilities that gets things done! And if you believe all this then you are well suited to working here and may you have a long and stagnant artificial "career", innovation and excellent abilities are not welcome here. Outshining your manager in any possible way is the beginning of your ticket out of here with your a$$ handed to you on a plate. This is a place for the mediocre, the average, the s--- it up person, experts and competence are not welcome here.
