It was reported to TX Workforce Commission in February that there will be 87 layoffs at Amon Carter on 6/15, which is a Friday. Who knows if it's the Wednesday before (6/13) or the Wednesday after (6/20). At least you were given a heads up! We are all worried in our department, hoping our managers know something, but we keep getting the "we don't ever know" responses.
June is a big month because it is Pride month
June is a big month since they typically will not prorate bonuses if you are out before mid-year. Clever, eh?

It's usually on Wednesdays, early in the morning. Time it with the pay cycle, they won't want to pay you with your package past certain key dates like new year etc - more admin and reporting for a whole extra year.
