I’m so over this company. Yes, I’m staying and hanging on for a package. Because honestly I feel like

I’m owed after all the blood, sweat and b---s--- of the last 10 years. They put on a good face, send a great message about diversity...but it’s all a crock. It’s all bottom line. They spout bs about caring about people. But do you really care about people and create an environment where they fear layoff every Wednesday as an expense strategy? or where you gauge every Wednesday by if you make it to the elevator? If you think this company care about you, you need to get a grip...it’s all bottom line...btw before you leave? Refer a family or friend thru we can assist

The "Marx Ratio" (q.v.) for Bank of America is about 1.0. That means the annual profit per worker is roughly equal to the median pay of $87K.

@Tylx9iO-bfp - I think that sometimes people have a sense of loyalty thinking that if they go above and beyond and make personal sacrifices along the way, there will be some sense of mutual loyalty and respect. That is the way it used to be and certainly times have changed with the influx of entitled millennials and cheap foreign workers who are proving now that you get what you pay for. However, your harsh words show nothing more than your lack of understanding of a dying culture and that you are clearly part of the "me first" generation. Someday you may find yourself with similar thoughts and I hope people are as gracious to you as you are to others.

So thankful I got out while they were still being reasonable about the packages. Now it seems like they're trying to get people to leave without packages.

Been there done that a year ago (also with 10+ years of service), I am now better off in every way.

Personally I couldnt care less about this company, professionally I hate them for their insincerity and unfairness (great motivator tough - I remember Jamie Dimon saying he hates competitors - I meant similar way)

My advice: Just ignore the stupid managers and do whats best using your own professional judgment - be the very best employee - they will hate you for it (because the poor managers and their cronies get exposed) and you will get laid off with a package.

Then with that windfall bonus, work for another company. Your skills will be valuable no matter what, as long as you are the best and highly motivated.

If you were paid for the past ten years, they owe you nothing for your “blood, sweat and tears”. You gave that to them at your own peril. If you were not compensated then you are a fool. Either way you are responsible for what you put up with. Grow up.
