I wouldn’t recommend anyone join the Slack app. Or if you do, use a made up personal email. Don’t share anything on a company computer, don’t even talk the union email to anyone you work with.

You don't have to use your WFM email to join Whole Workers. Use your personal email account and send an email to wholeworkerswfm (at) gmail.com to request an invite. If you are worried about security open an anonymous email account somewhere to use for this.

So far I've heard of store team leadersL telling teams that the email is false, has a virus (and if the computer is damaged your liable) and lastly if anyone joins slack there will be consequences "down the line".

I've worked union jobs and I've worked at WF. Given, a lot has changed in the last few years and WF isn't what it used to be.....but I have no interest in working union again.

Since you WF team members are owned by Amazon you don’t have the luxury of saying I won’t use SLACK. You aren’t the CEO...you are a worker in the company. You don’t make individual decisions against what the company Amazon has told you to do.

And "Hiring Day" is right around the corner. There's not a lot of open positions in my store, just a lot of unhappy campers who got that email. Maybe it's just a coincidence...

Look into slack. It’s hosted on an amazon server. I wouldn’t trust it.
