Any idea when they will be done and the worrying can be over?

I was thinking the same thing, Never. Its been going on a couple times a year for at least the last 5 years, maybe longer. Your employer owes you nothign anymore, youre just a number.
Never. There is no such thing as job security any more. Those days are gone. We've had people being laid off in ones and twos for years, and then come the big purges every so often. The best thing you can do is make sure your skillset is current, and keep an eye on the job market.
