Rumor that Call Centers are consolidating? Any truth to that?

The credit card call center in Pasadena, CA closed. Some were let go and some were sent to small satellite offices nearby.
Whatever happened to offshoring to the Philippines or India?
Have not heard of any yet in my building in Jax. It would not surprise me though.
