Hired Jan 2023. Did not get any match in Feb 2024 since hire date was just shy of full year before match paid out. Laid off Dec 2024. Can I expect a match paid out? I never got any clarity from my worthless manager. Anyone have any thoughts or... — read more

If you think it’s bad now, it’s about to get as bad as it possibly can. Discrimination based on race, color, religion, s-x, s-xual orientation, gender identity, or national origin is no longer prohibited. U.S. Bank can’t promote diversity, end... — read more

They don’t care about the bigger picture at all

The higher-ups are fixated on saving every dollar, but they expect the best talent to work for peanuts. Spoiler alert: no one worth hiring is buying into that. And honestly, paying a bit more could let us hire fewer but better people, which might be... — read more

Are we really safe until April?

A lot of gossip about layoffs being over until Q2. Any information to the contrary? It would be nice to have some time to focus on other things, like searching for another job, instead of worrying daily about losing this one.

I would personally prefer fully mandated RTO

That would finally push me out. I know it would be really bad for a lot of people, but in my case it would be very helpful in finally making a decision to part ways with this awful bank.
