Hired Jan 2023. Did not get any match in Feb 2024 since hire date was just shy of full year before match paid out. Laid off Dec 2024. Can I expect a match paid out? I never got any clarity from my worthless manager. Anyone have any thoughts or... — read more
Ok let's try this instead - what INDUSTRIES are better
Ok so banking is sh-t. At least medium and big banks. What industries are doing decent and are not in the middle of a 2-4 year layoff bloodbath frenzy? Obviously not big tech or banking. But any others, that have larger companies with plenty of... — read more

As many predicted last year, Andy was gone and new President was going to be new CEO. Many also predicted new CEO will force 5 days in office and offshore many departments. I hope a buyout is offered. The Trump administration is offering millions... — read more

Payroll deduction for premium cube seating
I spotted this in a CRE deck for a “Working Together Ops” mtg I missed yesterday. Something about the option for employees to access premium cubicle seating through payroll deductions, and that it could be a new income stream for the bank. Did anyone... — read more
11246 equal employment opportunities revoked
If you think it’s bad now, it’s about to get as bad as it possibly can. Discrimination based on race, color, religion, s-x, s-xual orientation, gender identity, or national origin is no longer prohibited. U.S. Bank can’t promote diversity, end... — read more
They don’t care about the bigger picture at all

Are we really safe until April?
A lot of gossip about layoffs being over until Q2. Any information to the contrary? It would be nice to have some time to focus on other things, like searching for another job, instead of worrying daily about losing this one.

Does anyone predict approved remote employees to be laid off soon?
With the huge push for RTO I have a feeling those approved to WFH (those over 30 miles from a hub) will be laid off sooner rather than later and if needed, replaced with someone who has hybrid availability… Unless their position is not one easily... — read more

New layoffs this week
Pretty large bunch this week for Q1.
I would personally prefer fully mandated RTO
That would finally push me out. I know it would be really bad for a lot of people, but in my case it would be very helpful in finally making a decision to part ways with this awful bank.
