For those who believe they're safe for whatever reason

I consistently received “exceeds” in my performance reviews year after year. My final year I received two 6% merit increases, being told I was a valuable asset to the company. 9 months later I was laid off.

Hub vs non hub

I'm remote in a given state. My headquarters is in another state. Will I be layed off and they'll replace me with someone who can work out of my main office? Or possibly be made to work out of an office in my city even though none of my colleagues... — read more

Branch Appointments

Are all WF branches understaffed? We have busy one, lots of affluent and working class customers. I like it. However, the environment is very stressful frequently because we don't have enough tellers/bankers. Business banker quit and district decided... — read more

Ask yourself this..nonhub ppl being laid off

I remind you that your CEO did not move to SF HQ hub to take a $21+ million a year job. He built one around him in NYC. But is laying off rank and file peeps in non hubs. I'd rather be laid off than work for a bunch of hypocrites, do as as I say... — read more

Hubs and Spokes and Jokes

I am reading people who work in non-hub locations are being laid off. Sad news! I left because WF wasn't committed to good talent and it was all a game, whether you worked in a hub or non-hub, even though you did your job well that didn't count for... — read more

BCP Exercise - all primaries in India

Almost all application primaries seem to be in India. They have a US hr shift in India these days. Quality of work is atrocious. Can never understand what they are saying. Its low end talent for cost savings! Despicable.

Bring back the 80's

I was drinking a beer listening to the 80's tonight. What happened to this country. What happened to this company. I used to go to work with a suit and tie, work my a-s off, now people don't even talk. I walk around town and it looks like me-h... — read more

Midyear reviews are really midyear competition

Checking Teams status?

WTF is going on with people checking Team's status? Are they chasing the green "active" dot? I have teams on my laptop and phone and am always available. Why does the stupid green dot matter to anyone?

Strike/Walk Out?

I’m wondering if anyone currently working for Wells Fargo has considered doing a strike/walk out for better pay/improving working conditions? It’s probably naive to think it would actually get them to care about their employees, but I am wondering if... — read more

There are a lot of factors that facilitate WFC’s current less-than-stellar standing and results, but I believe that one of the main ones is the fact that people are being promoted for all the wrong reasons. I believe nothing will improve until WFC... — read more

Proposed new Basel regs will curtail portfolio lending

At the big banks, massively. This will hit non-agency mortgage lending hard. Those famous great Wells Fargo jumbo rates could be a thing of the past. Big banks won’t wanna touch portfolio mortgage at all.
