Difference between claim denial and layoffs

Both of these pad the pockets of the business. I see no difference in the two. Both are dishonest and negatively affect the client/employee. People should take note of this

Innslake Consolidation

The Innslake (Glen Allen) location is "consolidating" all employees (with the exception of the call center) to one floor and "decommissioning" the floors that will not be used. This will happen in January. Does anyone have any insight? I've tried to... — read more

Eliminate the ESG and DEI Programs

The communications from the executive level make me feel like I work for a social justice think tank that occasionally does financial services. Can they not just declare victory seeing how they've sent tens of thousands of jobs from the U.S. to... — read more

Serious question about male dress code

Got the axe today

So our whole team displaced in Roanoke, VA call center today. 60 days non-working notice. Back-office group. Merry Christmas huh?!

GES results

Tech appears to be heavily drafted to basically say DEI means hiring everywhere but the US, and that's because our "diverse tech teams" are amazingly high performing (LMFAO). Career growth is an opportunity? They honestly expect US employees to read... — read more

First non-branch union

Seems the first non-branch union passed and is now waiting to be certified by the national labor relations board. Even the union busting attempt to lay off 8 of the team members only days away from the voting period didn't seem to make a difference... — read more

Office Work Hours Pilot

A coworker received a meeting request from GTM and the subject line was “Office Work Hours-Pilot”. Any ideas of what this about?

Guess this US-based employee's Cloud PC is in India.

Service Now keeps resetting my timezone to Asia/Kolkata. Makes it rather difficult to know when my changes and tasks actually start and end. The lengths this executive team is willing to go to in order to terminate high performers for cause is... — read more

Lousy workplace

Too much overtime. I can’t remember when I left the office at 5. Too low compensation, and it’s obvious that WF will continue trying to push it down. As low as they can get away with. None of the extra time and low pay are investment. You will not be... — read more

Tech relocation

My LOB is moving to tech. My previous lob allowed relocation if you are outside of core location, does technology offer this as well or will I just randomly get laid off one day?

Now what?

So now that management has announced they are leaving your State and layoffs are on the near horizon. What are your days like now while you wait? Are you looking for work, or waiting to cash out then look?

Do direct managers pick whom to layoff?

Who decides specific candidate to layoff in a team? . Is it your direct manager/director or above?. Hard and honest work is not valued at WF. Most of the middle management needs to go, they are good for nothing. They are pure trash.

Finally!

After nearly a year of sending out applications, getting few responses, and even fewer interviews, I just landed an external offer for $15k more than my current pay. It comes with comparable benefits and a much better chance to move up. I’m ready to... — read more

I want to leave WF

As I started sending out resumes, I figured there’s no other bank I would really like to work for. They are all the same, more or less. One can maybe improve personal conditions by a small margin, but I suspect there’s no substantial difference. WF... — read more
