Translation....Lots of dead weight management layoffs.
Relocating to Dallas HQ
Effective date 11/1/24. Drove past it last weekend. Didn't realize the HQ was so big. What is it like working there? Is there open parking? Who do I contact onsite to find out which floor I should go to?
CWA DISTRICT 6 BONUS
Looks like the SSP will pay around $1200 Monday to each bargained employee in district 6 due to the stock appreciation over the 12 months.
Everyone spending their significant CP OT money that Stankey promised us?
All I received was a thank you for working my a-s off for free.
Any word on timing for additional L3 demotions and/or layoffs?
I would’ve thought it would’ve come by now before the annual compensation deferral cycle in October. Are they getting laid off soon? I haven’t seen changes.
Will the TA’s be voted up or down?
Little light on the wage increases. Most other industry contracts over the past year or so have been 25% and now Boeing is offering their workers 30%. The pendulum has started swinging back toward labor but not enough, loss of benefits is still an... — read more
Don’t leave out of spite or stress
Some colleagues of mine want to quit because they are fed up. Recent stream of layoffs in the background of the strike didn’t help how people feel about working at T. We all are in fear for our livelihoods, but we shouldn't allow fear to make us... — read more

Almost got fired from Retail, 1st day at the call center today, any advice?
Been at COR Retail for 4 years, I got put on a counseling for “behavioral” bull. I put in for a transfer to the call center near me. This was a month ago. I kind of feel mislead by my CWA friends, they said it’s not a sale job. Today, my first... — read more

Dedicated Fiber targets are possible -Management
Then why do managers nationwide carry only 54% of the dedicated targets that their sellers do on the dashboard? Can you think of any other part of the business where managers are held to a fraction of their team's goals? It doesn’t exist. These... — read more
FirstNet Lardoffs
Recent ones didnt put a dent in amount of deadweight still remaining. There are useless project managers oversee unprofitable services. They call themselfs product development engineers but none of them no anything about products development or... — read more
What's the point?
I don't see any reason to go beyond the bare minimum at AT&T right now. Promotions seem to be more about who you know than what you do and how well you do it, with nepotism and cronyism running the show. Job security is a thing of the past. Benefits... — read more
Senior leadership has been destroying our work force for several years
The premise of separating ongoing practices resulting in poor outcomes from actions of the C-Suite is faulted. Senior leadership has been destroying our work force for several years. They have never demonstrated through action any ongoing widespread... — read more

Prem tech vs wire tech
What’s the difference. I thought they were the same thing.
T is managerial and organizational sh-tshow
With RTO even more so. If your team is functioning smoothly and you are having a manager actually capable of managing, consider yourself lucky.
WT and PT Layoffs
There will be a 20% reduction in Wiretech and Premtech workers after contracts are ratified. Larger percentage in the West region.
What is holding AT&T back?
Every business could be a great industry leading business, even AT&T. What is holding AT&T back? It's easy to place blame on former and current CEOs, but they are only the low hanging fruit. They certainly lay the groundwork for an uphill battle, but... — read more
Consolidate all similar groups nationwide
Then consolidate redundant positions to save millions for ATT and boost stock price to $44, similar to Verizon.
CNA/FRAUD
The worse enemy of it all in Retail today! Gives no explanations to service reps to tell customers other than sayn they are denied! We the sales reps takes to the cursing and more with no back up at all!
Cybersecurity unit….
Why some are not part of the acquisition? What projects are they doing for ATT?
Office distractions
Not an RTO rant. Are there more distractions in the office now than pre-pandemic? I do see people with their heads down and focusing on their work, but there are so many who seem to have unlimited free time for visiting with their neighbors. Has... — read more
Board of Directors Meeting Next Week
Board of Directors meeting is next week and the plan is to not extend Stankey's contract. Jeff McElfresh will be taking over. Bye, felicia.
I changed my wireless service and couldn't be more please with
the Network and Savings vs. my ATT Employee subsidized plans. With Cricket and 5 lines my bill is $80 cheaper than what I had with ATT Subsidized Plans and their Network is just as good as ATT.
Ratifications dates D3 & D9
Does anybody know the dates for the ratifications ? It seems mums the word.

Are any of you having luck with finding another job?
I’ve been with T for more than ten years. I can see that the company is changing rapidly and once relatively stable jobs are no longer secure. I assume there will be more layoffs, more attrition with RTO, and definitely more offshoring. I also badly... — read more
Anyone with the company hit the 2 million dollar + mark with investments yet?

T’s final offer to D3
What was different ? Seems to me D3 ended up with the same exact “final offer “ that T made weeks before. Seems the strike was for nothing.
what did you think about stankey first time you saw him?
what was your opinion? how about now? anyone saw him in person or directly interacted/worked with him, what's your take?

CP Compensation
There is compensation that should be on your pay for tomorrow. Don't get too excited. It is not commensurate with the amount of time worked. Supposedly it's higher if you were deployed out of state, but local deployments got a lot less. (Like if... — read more
