Maybe I was too naive when I thought that 2023 would be much better here. Now that I've faced the harsh reality, I wonder what awaits us until the end of the year?? I am totally demoralized.

Lots of post around mobility teams layoffs/reorg what about the wire-line, strategic services teams, are they next?
Seems like a lot of layers -VPS, AVPs, Directors, Sales Managers, Strategic Account Leads, Client Solution Executives, Account Managers...the list is endless in the organization, and as most of this side of the house is legacy SBC, and T I imagine... — read more
I wouldn't mind coming into the office but I would
rather work 5 days a week remote because I still work for id--ts. It's not the id--ts fault as they are a part of the system but all up and down my VP to Director chain are well educated MBA type rotational people that ATT has deemed "Leaders". Yes... — read more
sigh - July is going to be ugly folks
Sorry to break it to you, but word on the street is that the layoff numbers are going to be massive. up to 40% in some divisions. Buckle up. They need some good talking points when explaining Q2 and YTD numbers, and this will be it.
Exit experience
What's the exit experience like at T? Is there an exit interview?
Afraid to take risks
I would like to hear from those who think that this leadership should take more risks and what kind? It was brought up in one of the discussions down below. Personally, I'm really not sure that would be the wisest thing to do now.
Tell me again about the added value in RTO
I have been with the company for 15 years and have always worked from home. I've spent exactly 16 days in the office during that time. I had to familiarize new employees with our processes. I chose to do it in person all 4 times. We've never needed a... — read more

I checked with my supervisor and they don't know anything
I checked another level up and they don't know anything. One more level up and they don't know anything. No one knows anything other than to tell you to check with someone who doesn't know anything. Almost like a typical workday in the ATT Office... — read more

Stankey has to be connected with Feds
Washington DC is keeping him there for access to Americans activity. No buffoon this bad would last thing long unless there was someone in the swamp who wants him there as an agent against America.
Top 10: What’s wrong with the company

Call Center Cost Savings Tactic, Just Relocate
For decades, AT&T has been opening new call centers (new employees, lower starting pay) and closing older call centers (veteran employees, higher pay). The tactic is in the call center leadership textbook. AT&T makes a big deal about “commitment to... — read more
No reason not to pay
Yeah, I can't understand why people keep saying this bs about not getting severance. It's in AT&T's best interest to let people leave with this relatively small, hush money amount, if you will. They will gain nothing but a pain in the a-s if they... — read more
