How was your move and what are some areas with great schools closer to office because the commute from Frisco and Plano itself is like an hour each way.
New average hours report was still wrong
It was still wrong all the places. Seems like they can never make it right. This week office hour calculation was wrong. This time they even can not count hours!!
COU data not yet available for the week starting 3/9/3025
Does anyone actually know what this means? How is the COU data being folded into the LAN / WIFI pings and Badge swipes? For example, we have no cafeteria here so I leave to go out for lunch. Are they going to use this to terminate me next month? — read more

Okay, which one of you sued the company for overtime?
I can't view my average hours report anymore because it's supposedly for exempt employees only now. (I am 99.9% sure HR still uses it for RTO compliance tracking, so it doesn't mean non-exempt is off the hook.) I suspect someone tried to leverage... — read more
Can you actually believe

Return to Office, or Return to Ego?
Funny how leadership that couldn’t innovate their way out of a paper bag during a pandemic is now obsessed with “butts in seats” — as if physical presence ever made up for weak direction, poor morale, and zero trust in their employees. You let... — read more
Can I sue if I get terminated over RTO?
The average hours report is extremely faulty, so if I get fired over this I want to know if I can sue.

Goalposts are continuously changing
Today, they justify firing without severance with faulty reports. Tomorrow, they’ll justify it with a low number of GitHub commits. It’s ridiculous that people blame this big brother type tracking on people not complying with RTO, when it’s really... — read more
Clueless management

Yes, the time-in-office report is hopelessly broken and everyone knows it.
The fact is this: AT&T does not have the ability to know exactly when you leave the office. The infrastructure needed to track that at scale does not exist within the company and likely never will. Officers all know this. Stankey knows it. HR knows... — read more

Internet air
Off subject of the website but good for general question. Anyone know why we don’t get a discount on internet air yet?
When Stankey announced the RTO and FTW plan in the summer of 2023 . . .
he also mentioned that he wanted employees who "want to work" for AT&T. As CEO, does he have any responsibility in creating an atmosphere in which people would want to work?
