5 days in office 2025

Well, we got the call in Southeast Planning/Engineering for full RTO. Wondering if ALL of ATT Engineers got the call. We are lucky we have our own cubies here. Do most engineers have their own space at the office elsewhere?

Its Not That I Am Lazy, I Just Dont Care

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OwfNjGxa_D4 Here is the reality, they can force you into the office but they cant force you to work hard, COLLABORATE, be dedicated, engaged or whatever nonsense they dream up. Think about the insanity: You work at a... — read more

ATT Leaders for 20+ years have chased away talent

Anyone who is productive and desires upward mobility versus nepotism and malaise either never arrives at ATT or heads for the door quickly. Me I just milked it for all that it is worth and made more money at my non ATT work and projects. Did my... — read more

Yup they said it. Quotes from our leaders

One of the more insidious aspects of the RTO debacle and constant layoffs is how much credibility leaders have lost because of these actions. And they keep losing it every time they open their mouths. Feel free to add your own. From Kellyn... — read more

Expectations of Severance vs Termination for Cause

Some of our brightest stars on this forum will make the walk of shame following the mandate of five days in office in January 2025. Posters on this forum have indicated that policy will not be implemented on the same date for all organizations. If... — read more

Get off the back of RTO people

Most of them were working hard from home, same like those of you who were at the time in offices or on the ground. Now they have really bad working conditions. And we all know they have been disproportionately targeted for layoffs. For some, WFH was... — read more

Should AT&T receive tax breaks and government contracts given the number of layoffs and with moving jobs away from the US?

This is the waste Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy need to be looking at. Federal tax dollars should not be used to prop up businesses that harm tax payers. Take a look at the bigger picture: Key takeaways: AT&T has decreased the total number of... — read more

Your Future With At&t

I have knowledge of classified intel from a higher up. When I say higher up, I’m talking guys who have an extreme interest in the current valuation of the company. These guys have thousands and thousands of AT&T stock. I can’t tell you what exactly... — read more

AT&T leave me alone

I didn’t relocate to Dallas and was let go earlier this year, in February, to pursue opportunities elsewhere. At the time, I told my wife that AT&T would likely want to bring people back, but under different circumstances—lower pay and on a contract... — read more

J6 Prisoners…

That’s what we are. Only worse. Even prisoners get an assigned jail cell.

RTO is crazy

Office space is ‘organized’ and ‘managed’ with intention to give you infection or cause mental breakdown.

LinkedIn

Anybody else finds it funny how all the LinkedIn posts make AT&T seem like this perfect workplace where everybody is happy and productive and grateful to be working for this amazing company? It’s next-level gaslighting. I mean, I understand. If... — read more

Last Day 12/13/24

How are things?

LAN reporting

Ok, we will comply and do our 5days in office (and likely put in some hours at home). Does anyone have credible knowledge on when the LAN is pinged to show we are on? Not trying to short the day, but if I need to make a customer meeting and take my... — read more

Dealing with a clueless manager

‘The Texas Flea’
